Who wants to eat this with me?

I want to make this soon. Perhaps this coming Monday? We’ll need to go to Essex Street Market to be able to afford these ingredients, and I’ll need to cave and spend the $9 on the 9″x13″ baking pan at the Family Dollar. All of this seems worth it to make this recipe, prepared by one of my favorite bloggers, Rebecca Crump, courtesy of a Martha Stewart recipe.

Can I confess? I sort of love Martha Stewart. When I lived alone, I DVRd her show. Don’t hate me.

  1. I confess I’m not a mushroom fan, but I *am* a Martha fan, so it all evens out.

  2. Not a mushroom fan here either. It is odd that I have 4 13×9 pans? (I picked 2 of them up at thrift stores) I use them a lot. 🙂 You won’t regret having one around.

    • I don’t think it’s odd at all! Those pans seem like total kitchen standards. I just didn’t think to register for them for my wedding, or buy them in my post-wedding Ikea shopping-fest, because I have a weird fear of cooking in the oven. It’s been abating, but I like the control of stovetop cooking. Ovens are so tricky!
