Pizza, Nostalgia

Despite being sick with some kind of awful fluey thing, Chris ran some unpleasant errands with me in our old neighborhood. We rewarded ourselves with dinner at Bene, the pizza place we lived above in our crappy first apartment together. Ernie, the owner, is an awesome guy. It felt great to have one of their sublime vodka sauce slices and shoot the breeze with Ernie last night. Also, our old building looks as crappy as ever, though I noticed the new tenants have added better window shades so voyeurs like me can’t get a view.

The vodka slices are the ones with the pinkish sauce. They're awesome.
